Woman ACTO Pelts Stones At Police, Creates Ruckus On Streets 

Vijayawada: An assistant commercial taxes officer created ruckus on streets by pelting stones on a cement shop and also police who tried to control her in Tiruvuru on Thursday evening.

ACTO Padma is known as an efficient official and she also set an example to AP government employees in shifting to the new capital by traveling on bicycle from Hyderabad to Amaravati last year.

Padma went on inspection to a cement shop in Tiruvuru which is not under her purview. She insisted that the shop closed immediately. When the shop owner was trying to reason out, the ACTO started abusing him and assaulted him. When the police arrived at the spot, she abused them in filthy words and pelted stones at them.

With a lot of difficulty, police could take Padma into custody and kept her under medical supervision. It's learnt that her mental condition is not stable for some time now.
