‘Will help my children enter films only if they are deserving’
Mumbai: Superstar Aamir Khan says he will help his children if they wish to enter the world of films provided they are deserving.
Aamir has two children from his first wife Reena Dutta - son Junaid and daughter Ira.
"He (Junaid) is studying theatre.. he is interested in theatre. She (Ira) is planning not to study.. she is going my way," Aamir told reporters here at an event last evening.
On if he will help his children if they want to get into films, the "PK" star says, "Of course I will help them. If I feel they have the talent and are deserving I will surely help them.. if not deserving then I will tell them they aren't deserving."
Junaid has assisted filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani on "PK".
Meanwhile Aamir will be celebrating his 11th wedding anniversary with wife Kiran Rao in Panchgani.
"I am bad with (remembering) birthday dates. Every year we have a problem as Salman's birthday is on December 27 and our anniversary is on December 28. This year too we will be celebrating it in their house in Panchgani," Aamir said when asked about his friend's birthday this year.
The perfectionist met Kiran on the sets of "Lagaan", who was then working on the film as an assistant director. Cupid struck and they later chose to get married. The couple tied the knot on December 28, 2005.
