Why did Lok Satta not join TDP-BJP?

Lok Satta founder and president Jayaprakash Narayan had announced that his party is ready to consider "strategic alliances and tactical adjustments" with other parties without compromising on its core values.
He also hinted several times that he would go with TDP, but that did not materialise.
Jayaprakash Narayan came out with a statement saying that 'money politics' stopped them from going in for an alliance with TDP and BJP.
He however , announced that his party will support NDA at the nation level.
