WhatsApp Video Calling Beta Version on Windows-based Smartphones

New York: After creating sensation with chatting and voice calls, WhatsApp is coming out with video calling feature. The new feature is under testing and beta model is available on Windows Phone and iPhone. WhatsApp will soon make the video calling feature available in android O/S-based smartphones also.

Spanish website OneWindows.es, first carried a story on the new feature to be introduced by WhatsApp and Beta version. Windows Phone users can make video calls on WhatsApp. However, users were not required to update their WhatsApp app.

If you happen to own a Windows Phone, you can try re-installing WhatsApp on your device to check out the new feature.

With the new addition, when you click on the call button, both Video and Voice call options are offered. You can also swap between the front and rear cameras during the video call. You can also mute audio.
