Nellore, YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday expressed his anger at the Congress High Command and the undemocratic way the latter chose to go about Andhra Pradesh bifurcation.

In an interview with NDTV Jagan said, "Congress is dividing the state in an undemocratic manner. My only demand is, keep the state united. YSRCP MPs will extend its support to the party that promises to keep the state united."

He added, "We are ready to join hands with any party, BJP or communist party, as long as it supports 'Samaikyandhra'. Congress took one sided decision with regard to bifurcation and that cannot be justified."

He reiterated that if bifurcation does take place then 70 per cent of people will not get water in the state. "We will not be able to pay salaries to employees in the new state without Hyderabad," he added.

Taking on CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, Jagan asked, "What was CM Kiran doing when Congress Working Committee took the decision to bifurcate the state?  He should have resigned then and there. CM also diluted the APNGO's strike. His only goal is to stay the CM for as long as possible."
