What is the truth behind KCR's Delhi trip?
Truth is often the biggest casualty in politics. Over the years, this is a bitter lesson that our 'leaders' have taught us repeatedly.
The TRS supremo, K. Chandrasekhara Rao became the butt of ridicule over the last fortnight as some Congress leaders claimed that KCR had gone to Delhi of his own accord, without any invitation from the high command.
However, KCR said that he had gone to the national capital only at the Congress party's invitation. The TRS chief interacted with the media today as he headed back to Hyderabad after his prolonged stay in Delhi, hoping for an announcement from the Centre on the vexatious Telangana issue.
KCR claimed that his discussions with Congress leaders were successful and added that he had confidential meetings with several leaders.
It was reported earlier that Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal had ridiculed KCR's Delhi trip saying that nobody had invited the TRS chief to New Delhi for discussions. He also said that KCR was sitting idle in the national capital.
