HC orders probe into TRS office land deal

HC orders probe into TRS office land deal - Sakshi Post

When TRS president KCR returns to Hyderabad from New Delhi this evening he is in for a rude shock. The Andhra Pradesh High Court has ordered a detailed inquiry into a case filed against him by his nephew Umesh Rao, who is now with the Congress camp.

The case came up for hearing before the court today and the High Court has ordered a thorough probe into it.
Umesh Rao had filed a case against KCR on the use of the Telangana Bhavan for his personal business affairs. Rao has already petitioned to the State Government to take back the land allotted for the Telangana Bhavan, housing the TRS party office. Umesh Rao alleged that the Telangan Bhavan is being used for KCR’s personal use. He has also filed a petition before the High Court. Umesh Rao, in his petition, requested the court to direct the State Government to cancel the one acre land allotted to the TRS office as KCR had leased out the second floor of the building constructed on the land, to a TV news channel, violating government rules. The petition came up before the court for hearing today and the court ordered the government to conduct a detailed inquiry into it.
