'We will welcome KCR with 1 lakh people'

Andhra Pradesh Minister for BC Welfare Baswaraju Saraiah said that the state of Telangana became a reality only due to the initiative of AICC President Sonia Gandhi.

Telangana leaders welcomed the minister, who came from New Delhi, at Hyderabad airport this morning.

Speaking to reporters, the minister said that people of Telangana were thanking Sonia Gandhi for granting the state of Telangana with ten districts.

Saraiah said that TRS chief K.Chandrasekhara Rao had kept his promise of returning with new state.

“We are planning to accord a grand welcome to KCR with one lakh people at the airport”, said the minister. He said they were making arrangements for the same.

On the other hand, the airport in the city was filled with the separatists this morning.
