We’ll not leave Govt on AgustaWestland issue: BJP

BJP senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday said there would not be any hesitation as a main Opposition party on the AgustWestland issue.

“We will not leave the Govt unless and until the accused who took bribes in the deal should be punished”, Venkaiah Naidu said adding that the issue would be raised in the Parliament and did not believe in the CBI enquiry into the scam.
He told media persons in Guntur that CBI was functioning under the influence of the UPA Government and demanded an investigation by SIT. He alleged that the Government was trying to shield the real culprits in the scam.
Answering to a question, Venkaiah Naidu said loan waiver would not alone solve the problem in agriculture and it should be made profitable strictly adhering to report by Swaminathan. He said the wind was in favour of Bharatiya Janata Party and the nation was looking for BJP Government at the Centre.
