Rs 40 lakh seized from car
The traffic police sized currency bundles of Rs 40 lakhs from a car at Proddutur in YSR district on Sunday.
The police conducted searches on the main thoroughfares following District Cooperative Credit Bank (DCCB) elections being held in the district. The seized amount was sent to higher officials and the car was shifted to police station.
