We don’t lack money, but it is lying where it should not be: PM
After demonetisation, poor enjoying sound sleep, rich running from pillar to post to buy sleeping pills, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday.
Addressing a gathering in Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh, Modi said only when people are ready to face inconvenience, then corruption will go.
On inconvenience being faced by people due to demonetisation, Prime Minister said new whitewash gives out foul smell, but it is necessary.
When the PM asked the people if he did right thing by scrapping notes, he got a loud roar from the crowd. "Will you face hardships? If people in villages are ready to face hardships there is no place for dishonesty in India," he said.
