Vijayashanti backs Chiranjeevi on Kapu reservation

Hyderabad: Chiranjeevi, the ex-union minister and Congress MP in Rajyasabha received a voice of support from unexpected quarters. The firebrand politician from Telangana and Chiranjeevi's colleague from the film industry, Vijayashanti on Monday voiced out her opinion saying Chiranjeevi is right in his stand about the issue of reservation for the Kapu community.  

She demanded that the BJP and TDP governments should resolve the Kapu reservation issue without causing any loss to the BC communities.

Chiranjeevi had written an open letter to the Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu demanding that he rally unanimous support in the Assembly for the inclusion of the Kapu community among the BCs and send the decision to the centre to ratify it.

Pawan Kalyan had addressed the media earlier in the day on the issue of the agitation turning violent in Tuni.
