Qutubulapur: A circle inspector allegedly behaved in a high handed manner and assaulted employees summoned for GHMC election duty in Qutubulapur. He is reported to have branded his revolver and threatened them.

Certain employees reported for election duties in a school in Chintal, Qutubullapur. Some of those who reported for duty were apparently ordered to leave by the authorities on Monday. An altercation arose between the authorities and the employees over payment of allowances. The employees then began to protest.

The Balanagar CI Bhikhapathi Rao soon arrived on the scene and is reported to have assaulted three of the agitating employees. He is said to have pulled out his revolver and threatened the employees there.

The employees complained that they had been working there since morning without food and critised the high handed behaviour of the police towards them.
