Venkaiah for immediate polls to ensure growth

BJP senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday said immediate polls were the only solution to overcome from the existing reversal growth and corruption scams.

Talking to newsmen, Venkaiah Naidu said the per capita income was lower than per capita debt in the country. When the capital deficiency has been just 4 per cent during the NDA rule, it touched 10 per cent in the UPA rule due to inefficient policies of the UPA government. 

The BJP leader said people had lost trust in the government with misuse of constitutional set-up. The statement of CBI director that there were no witnesses to prove charges against Railway Minister P K Bansal in the corruption case was an evident for misuse of constitutional institutions, Naidu asked how he comes to that conclusion without commencing the investigation. It was indicating how the UPA government fell down morally, he said. 

Venkaiah Naidu said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was appearing as if he was a great liability to the nation. Stating that constitutional institutions like CVC, CBI and ED were in the hands of UPA government, Naidu said it had totally ignored the spirit of the coalition. He further alleged that the UPA was hatching a plot to bring a religious split in the country.
