Union Cabinet reshuffle: Sarve keeps his hopes alive

While some ministers in the state are not pinning their hopes on the High Command, Malkajgiri MP Sarve Satyanarayana remains confident.

He is optimistic about being inducted into the Union Council of Ministers. The Cabinet reshuffle is scheduled for Sunday.

Sarve has claimed that Sonia Gandhi had recently called him personally to assure him a post in the Union Cabinet.

“She called me a few days ago and informed that I would get a Cabinet berth. She also asked me not to reveal this to anybody. I am very confident that Sonia amma would stick to her promise. But I will not feel bad even if I am excluded,” he told media persons in New Delhi.

Although he expressed hope about his inclusion, he did express his doubts on the kind of portfolio he would get.
