Chiru likely to get tourism & culture portfolio

Good news for Andhra Pradesh as it is almost confirmed that Chiranjeevi, P Balram Naik, Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy and Killi Kriparani from the state are said to have been inducted into the Cabinet.

Now, the indications are that Chiranjeevi may get the portfolio of Tourism and Culture, while Kriparani may get the portfolio of minister of state for medical and health.

It has already been reported that Ambika Soni has submitted her resignation.  And that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh called all the four MPs and congratulated them is also public knowledge now. However, there are mixed feelings in the AP political circles with senior Congress ministers like Kavuri resigning from their posts.

Meanwhile, sources say HRD minister for state, Daggubati Purandeshwari is likely to be promoted and given the portfolio of Commerce and Industry.
