Hyderabad, Unidentified persons tonight hurled stones at some of the buses carrying pro-AP supporters returning after APNGO meeting, near Abdullapurmet and Hayatnagar on Hyderabad outskirts, damaging their windscreens, police said.

Meanwhile, protests for the united Andhra Pradesh continued in East Godavari and Kadapa districts. Government employees, students and other JACs organised agitations in Kakinada, Amalapuram, Kothapeta, Mummudivaram, Ambajiepeta, Prathipadu and other parts of East Godavari district. In Narsapur town, YSRCP activists climbed atop a municipal water tank and sat on a relay fast against proposed division of the state. They came down after much persuasion by police who later took them in custody, police said. At Badvel in Kadapa district, sister of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, Sarmila criticised Congress and TDP for working against the interest of Seemandhra people. At Raychoty, a rally was organised in support of Save Andhra Pradesh in Hyderabad earlier in the day. Around 2,000 government employees and other organisations participated in the march against proposed division of Andhra Pradesh.
