Uma Madhava Reddy, Son Sandeep Reddy Join TRS 

CM KCR welcomes Uma Madhava Reddy, Sandeep Reddy and their followers into TRS at Pragathi Bhavan on Thursday. - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: In yet another gain to the ruling TRS, the Bhuvanagiri district TDP president A. Sandeep Reddy and his mother, former minister Uma Madhava Reddy on Thursday joined the party.

The former minister and her son resigned to their parent part TDP on Wednesday after a meeting with the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Roa a day before. Uma is the wife of former home minister A. Madhava Reddy who was killed in a bomb attack by naxalites in 1999 at Ghatkesar. Uma also served as a minister in TDP government.

While inviting Uma and Sandeep into the party, KCR recalled his association with the late Madhava Reddy. Both were in TDP during his time. KCR said Uma was like his own sister and it's her coming back home. He also assured a bright future for Sandeep Reddy in politics. Dozens of TDP workers also joined TRS along with their leaders.
