Two killed after taking contaminated food


Two persons of a family died and condition of three more was critical after they consumed contaminated food in Prakasam district on Wednesday.

According to reports, Beeram Nagireddy and his four of his family members fell ill after they consumed food on Tuesday at Srinivasa Nagar in Mundlamuru mandal. They were shifted to Ongole Govt hospital where Subbulu, 35, wife of Nagireddy and Sai,11, her sister's son succumbed. Nagireddy, his son Subbareddy and Subbulu’s sister Dhanalakshmi were undergoing treatment. District medical and revenue officials visited the village. Investigating is on to find out the reason for food contamination.
