Two Farmhands Electrocuted

Death came in the form of a snapped electric wire for two woman farm hands in Tadimalla village of West Godavari district on Tuesday morning.

According to the police, two farmhands, identified as Mahalakshmi (38) and Vallanki Manga (23) joined the farm works in an agricultural field on Tuesday morning. At around 9 am, the 33 kv electric wires snapped and fell on them. They were electrocuted.

Later, the bodies were lifted after switching off power supply and were sent for post-mortem.

The police registered a case.
