TVP surround Pithani's house, demand scholarships

Hyderabad, Telangana Vidyardi Parishath on Friday surrounded state minister Pithani Satyanarayana's residence in Hyderabad, and demanded scholarships for eligible students.

According to reports, they also demanded that presenting of Aadhar card should not be made compulsory for scholarships. They asked the Government to pay reimbursement as well.

The protesters also accused the Government of being arrogant with students. 

The Police tried to restrict the large number of students who had convened for the protests, from entering the minister's house. Later, the students were removed from the spot and taken to the police station.
