Government is under the influence of private bus travels mafia'

CPI State secretary Narayana on Friday slammed the Government  for its failure to provide justice to the kith and kin of the Mahabubnagar Bus accident victims.

According to reports, he alleged that the Government is under the influence of private bus travels mafia.

Questioning the Government, he asked. "Why isn't the Government reacting to such a major incident where 45 people were charred to death?" He also added that private travels should not be allowed to ply on the streets from tomorrow if justice is denied to the family of the victims. 

On October 30, 2013, 45 people lost their lives, when a private travels bus, plying from Bangalore to Hyderabad, caught fire.  The families of the victims are yet to get compensation.
