TTC Student sets herself ablaze in Nellore
A student at a teachers training college committed suicide by setting herself ablaze near Buchireddypalem of Guttikonda in Nellore on Saturday.
Subhasini, a student in Guttikonda Sriramulu TTC college, poured kerosene on herself and set ablaze at her house after allegedly being humiliated in class over submitting records. She was rushed to a nearby hospital in Tirupati, where she died while undergoing treatment.
The deceased belonged to Timmareddypalem of Dagadarthi mandal.
The relatives of the girl said that she was humiliated by her teachers and classmates. Dejected by this, she committed suicide, they said.
