Truth lands Sakshi reporter in trouble

It was the opening ceremony of Green Bawarchi, a hotel on the outskirts of the city. Union minister Sarve Sathyanarayana was the chief guest. Before a minister graces a public event, it is customary for its officials to carry out a check of the venue. This case was an exception though.

Sakshi cameras caught a young kid being employed by the hotel to carry out arduous tasks. The kid could be seen cleaning tables and serving water. However, the union minister and other officials who were present at the hotel chose to play mute witnesses to the happenings around.

All of us know chuild labour is illegal. Then why did  the ministers ignore it? The worst thing was that the Sakshi reporter who covered the event was  attacked by the hotel staff. Was it the journalist's fault then?
