TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao had earlier claimed he got an assurance from the Central leaders in Delhi about formation of separate Telangana and that they would take a decision on the issue after the August 7 election of Vice- President.

The association had condemned certain comments made by the TRS MLAs about some police officers on duty.
