TRS Releases First List of Candidates for GHMC Polls

Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) released the first list of candidates for the ensuing Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) polls, on Friday.

The list, prepared by TRS party's Rajya Sabha MP K Kesava Rao, includes candidates for 80 divisions of the total 150 divisions in the GHMC jurisdiction.
Addressing the media, he said the party adopted a transparent process in the selection of candidates for the polls. Notable names in the announcement include Congress party strongman late P Janardhan Reddy's daughter Vijaya Reddy and also former president of TRS's city unit Bonthu Rammohan.
