TRS plans protest marches on Nov 1

Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K Chandrasekhar Rao today asked the party cadres to observe November 1 – The AP Formation Day – as a day of betrayal and hoist black flags to protest against the “injustice” done to Telangana in integrated Andhra Pradesh.

Chandrasekhara Rao asked the TRS cadre to stage protests demonstrations across the 10 districts of the region on November 1. “A total injustice was meted out to Telangana. The Formation Day should be treated as day of betrayal and the TRS activists should express their protest by hoisting black flags,” he said.
Maintaining that injustice was meted out to Telangana region on all fronts in the integrated Andhra Pradesh, TRS observes November 1 as the day of betrayal and organizes protests every year.
