TRS leader in spot-fixing saga?

There were days when people would stick to their respective businesses. However, times have changed now with everyone wanting to do everything.

Every day, there's news about one popular person or the other linked to spot-fixing scandal in IPL. The spot-fixing scam hasn't spared Andhra Pradesh too. Recently, there were reports that a person from the Telugu film industry had sent photos of beautiful heroines and models to cricketer Sreesanth.

More shocking was when a regional TV channel aired that a TRS leader is involved in the racket. Now, it looks like the dirty scandal has links to politicians too.

According to the channel, Delhi police is suspecting the role of Shakeel Ahmed who is the TRS party in-charge of Bodhan constituency in Nizamabad district.

It is said that Shakeel played a bookie with a fake name. Earlier, there were also allegations that he was involved in a passport scandal.

Shakeel had contested from Bodhan constituency in 2009 and was defeated. The Delhi and Bengal police are on the lookout for him.

Sources in the TRS did not confirm his involvement in the fixing, but said he has several businesses spread across many gulf countries.

What is more shocking is that Delhi police also questioned KCR regarding his party leader's involvement.
