Jagan's smile makes Chandrababu Naidu jittery
We all know that laughter is the best medicine. There are hundred different ways to keep yourself happy. Laughter helps so much so that the world has reserved a day to celebrate laughter. We often say 'smile for it costs nothing'. Yet, some people don't even want to try that. One such person is TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu.
When Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy was head of state, it was said that Naidu would be scared at the sight of YSR's laugh. And looks like the same continues now too. This time though it's Jagan's smile that has given Naidu the jitters.
In fact, YSR had once directly told Naidu during an Assembly session: Navvadam oka yogam, Navvalekapovadam oka rogam, Navvinchadam oka bogam."If you can't practice this, we are helpless. Who is frustrated? Is it a person who laughs or one who doesn't?" he had asked.
While YSR's statement got a round of thunderous applause, Naidu failed to get the point.
Instead Naidu responded thus: "I don't know why chief minister laughs even while important issues comes up for discussion." The buzz in the political circles was that YSR's ever smiling face worried Naidu. Looks like he suffers the same phobia now too.
Everyone knows that when YS Jagan came out from jail on Friday, he greeted his fans with a big smile on his face. This caused a major concern for the TDP leaders. Several insecured TDP leaders openly criticized Jagan's gestures. TDP leader Varla Reddy told media: "They are playing mind games. Jagan laughing is part of game."
Perhaps if YSR was alive, he certainly would have given a fitting reply to such silly comments with his trademark smile.
