Traffic Regulations On Account Of President’s Movements In City Today 

Hyderabad: To facilitate a smooth flow of traffic during the President Pranab Mukharjee's visit to Osmania University for the centenary celebrations on Wednesday, traffic will either be restricted or diverted on the following routes:

From 1200hrs to 1245hrs:

Begumpet to Osmania University, Tarnaka

Traffic will be diverted at Begumpet airport – l&O PS Begumpet – Rasoolpura junction – PG College - CTO Flyover – Plaza – YMCA Flyover – St. John's Rotary – Sangeeth X Roads – Naidu Motors Lane – Bharath Petrol Pump – RRC Grounds Lane – Alugadda Bavi Junction – SNT Workshop – Mettuguda Junction – Railway Degree College - Tarnaka X Roads – RTC Hospital – Osmania University Campus.

From 1315hrs to 1400hrs:

Osmania University to Raj Bhavan

Osmania University – RTC Hospital – Tarnaka X Roads – Railway Degree College – Mettuguda Junction – SNT Workshop – Alugadda Bavi Junction – RRC Ground Lane – Bharath Petol Pump – Naidu Motors Lane – Sangeeth X Roads – St. John's Rotary – North Zone DCP Office – YMCA Flyover – Plaza – CTO Flyover – Rasoolpura Jn – PNT Flyover – Shayamlal Building – HPS – Begumpet flyover – Greenlands X Roads – Monappa Islnad (Rajiv Gandhi statue) - Jaya Gardens – Yashoda Hospital – MMTS – Raj Bhavan Railway Gate – Raj Bhavan – VV Statue.

From 1600hrs to 1645hrs:

Raj Bhavan to English & Foreign Language University, at Brahma Kumaris Shanti Sarovar Auditorium, Gachibowli

Monappa Island - Raj Bhavan – Metro Residency – VV Statue – KCP Junction – Ansari Manzil – Hotel Taj Krishna T Junction – Road No. 1/10 Junction – Road No. 1/12 junction – Khaja Mansion – Masab Tank – NMDC – SD Eye Hospital – PS Humayun Nagar – Rythu Bazar – Rethi Bowli – Nanal Nagar – Toli Chowki flyover – Galaxy Theater – Shaikpet Nala – Narayanamma College – towards Gachibowli.

From 1715hrs to 1800hrs:

English & Foreign Language University, at Brahma Kumaris Shanti Sarovar Auditorium, Gachibowli to Begumpet airport

Gachibowli – Narayanamma College – Shaikpet Nala – Galaxy Theater – Toli Chowki flyover – Nanal Nagar – Rethi Bowli – Mehdipatnam – SD Eye Hospital – NMDC – Masab Tank – Khaja Mansion – Road No. 1/12 – Road No. 1/ 10 junction – Hotel Taj Krishna Junction – Road No. 1/7 Junction – Road No. 1/4 Junction – Nagarjuna Circle (NFCL) – Panjagutta flyover – CM Camp Office – Begumpet flyover – HPS – Shyamlal - PNT Junction – Begumpet airport – Rasoolpura.

Traffic diversion points

Traffic from Adikmet flyover, Arts College proceeding towards Tarnaka will be diverted at Seetaphalmandi T junction towards Seetaphalmandi flyover.

Traffic from Habsiguda proceeding towards Tarnaka will be stopped at Rajyabhilekha near Street No. 1, Tanaka at the time of VVIP’s arrival.

Traffic from Lalapet will be stopped near David Memorial School at the time of VVIP’s arrival.

RTC Buses Diversion:

At NCC Gate, Car Pass holder vehicles will be allowed inside OU Campus and other general vehicles will be diverted towards DD Colony or Vidyanagar.

Need-based diversion will be made at Ram Nagar ‘T’ Junction and Vidyanagar ‘T’ Junction (DD Hospital).

RTC bus of Route No.3 coming from Tarnaka will be diverted towards Street No.8 Habsiguda – Ramanthapur – Amberpet No. 6 Junction – Nimboliadda – Kachiguda.

RTC route No.3 buses coming from Afzalgunj or Koti towards ECIL will be directed towards Chaderghat, Nimboli Adda, No.6 Junction Amberpet, Ramanthapur, Habsiguda Street No.8 to reach ECIL.

RTC buses Route No.107 coming from Dilsuknagar towards Secunderabad will be diverted at Vidyanagar – Hindi Mahavidyalaya – RTC X Roads – Musheerabad to reach Secunderabad vice versa.

City Police Commissioner M. Mahender Reddy requested the people moving on the above routes at specified timings to take alternative routes to their destinations and to avoid the above routes and co-operate with the Traffic Police during the period of traffic diversion.
