RGV’s Diwali Atom Bomb Sparks Controversy
Controversy, thy name is RGV! Ace director Ram Gopal Varma's new controversial film trailer of his upcoming flick Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu was released on Diwali day as promised earlier in his tweet: "The trailer of KAMMA RAJYAMLO KADAPA REDDLU is going to release on October 27th 9.36 Am as a DIWALI GIFT to POLITICIANS, JOURNALISTS, ROWDIES , FACTIONISTS, POLICE PEOPLE and COMMON PEOPLE.. ..GOD BLESS #KRKR." (sic)
The trailer of the film, which seems to be taking a dig on the political controversies taking place in Andhra Pradesh, has look-alikes of all important politicians in the Andhra including Pawan Kalyan, Chandrababu Naidu and others. Another surprise element is comedian Brahmanandam who is seen in the trailer. The movie is about the issues between two dominant caste groups of Andhra Pradesh.One can hear RGV's voice over describing the events and a there is also a shot of Chandrababu feeding Lokesh Babu in one scene. The film was announced by RGV after the release of his last film Lakshmi's NTR which set off a furore in the Telugu states especially for its timing during the Assembly Elections and RGV’s arrest in Vijayawada despite the ban on the film.

The images of Pawan Kalyan have already set off angry tweets by the Jana Sena Party fans, who are now warning the director of severe consequences for portraying their leader in the movie.
Directed by Ram Gopal Varma and produced by Ajay Mysore, the film's lyrics are by Sirasri and music composed by Ravi Shankar.
