Tirupati hospital: Woman attempts baby kidnap

There was high drama at the Tirupati government maternity hospital on Friday. A woman tried to kidnap a newborn from the hospital. The news spread like wildfire among the localities and created a sensation in the temple town.
A few people at the hospital who noticed that the woman was taking away the infant, stopped her. However, the woman defended her action by saying the hospital authorities had given the baby to her. The incident is being investigated by the hospital management.
