This Principal Feels Students Could Turn Lesbians If They Are Allowed To Lock The Doors
Kollam (Kerala): The students of Upasana College of Nursing in Kerala's Kollam district protested against college management for asking the students not to lock their doors suspecting lesbian acts. They termed the management directive misogyny.
They have been staging a sit-in outside the campus from Monday night accusing the principal of harassing them.
The principal thinks that we are lesbians or feels we will use cellphones after closing the doors
They said they have been asked not to close their room doors even while changing clothes alleging that they could resort to lesbian acts.
“The principal thinks that we are lesbians or feels we will use cellphones after closing the doors," a student said.
They further said that internet usage is barred in library as management thinks they might watch obscene sites. They also termed college principal Jessy Kutty as a castiest.
