Thieves strike at Telangana Secretariat

This time they struck at the seat of government itself. Defying tight security, thieves stole a generator battery at D Block in the Telangana Secretariat premises.The staff identified the theft and informed police who booked a case Monday. The incident shocked the official as stringent security procedure is in place at the Secretariat. Police suspect that someone within premises must have committed the mischief.
