Thieves sneak into APSRTC bus depot at Hanumakonda

A group of thieves sneaked into an APSRTC bus depot at Hanumakonda in Warangal district and allegedly decamped with cash worth Rs 25 lakh five days ago.

The APSRTC officials have lodged an FIR with Hanumakonda police on Tuesday. The police who registered the case have begun investigation.

In a shocking turn of events on Sunday morning, Rs 4 lakh was found stuffed in a plastic cover between the trees. Police believe that the cash belongs to APSRTC.

They believe that the thieves threw the cash as they were unable to carry a cover that had only fifties and hundreds.
