Chaos at Visakha Fashion Week
Visakha Kingfisher Fashion Week was stopped after several Hindu activists expressed their anger at models wearing dresses with the pictures of Ganesha and other Hindu Gods on Sunday.
According to reports, several models covered their body with dresses that adorned the prints of Lord Ganesha and Subramanya.
Demanding a ban on the Fashion show, the Hindu activists showed disgust at the models on the ramp, who wore skimpy outfits that adorned the pictures of Hindu Gods.
Finally, the cat walk came to the halt and cases were booked against several models. Women organisations also entered the scene and obstructed the cat walk. The organizers alleged a loss of over a crore with the ban on fashion show.
