The Fault In Our Stars Hindi Remake Gets Female Lead

There is a good news for all those familiar with the book, The Fault In Our Stars. The Hollywood film by the same name, based on the movie, was released in 2014 and received huge appreciation from audiences and critics alike. It was also a big commercial success. The latest we hear is that it is going to be remade in Bollywood which is set to go on floors by the middle of this year.

The Fault In Our Stars author John Green seems excited about Bollywood filmmakers planning to do the film. On March 20, he shared his excitement with his fans on his Twitter page. He had tweeted: “I can’t believe this is happening. Amazing!” Casting director Mukesh Chhabra, who will make his debut as a director with this film, too replied to Green’s tweet. Chhabra wrote, “Wow. Thank you.”

The film will be directed by debutant Mukesh Chhabra and is believed to be bankrolled by Fox Star Studios. Bollywood actor Sushant Singh has been approached to play a lead role in the film. If reports are to be believed, Bollywood new babe Sanjana Sanghi who shot to fame with films like-Rockstar, Hindi Medium and Fukrey Return is all set to play the female lead opposite to Sushant.
