'Telugu film industry won't move away from Hyderabad'

TDP MP and Movie Artist Association president Murali Mohan quashed the apprehensions that Telugu film industry will move away from Hyderabad.

Speaking at an audio function in Hyderabad on Thursday, he asked, “Why should we leave Hyderabad? We are making films for the Telugu people.”

“It took 15 years to shift Telugu film industry from Chennai to Hyderabad. We are still depending on Chennai and Mumbai for dance and music sections. Even Telangana people do not want the shifting of the industry from Hyderabad,” said the MP,

However, he said that there are opportunities for development of the industry in the cities like Visakhapatnam and Rajahmundry in future.
