Telugu boy wins doodle 4 Google contest

A doodle that depicts a 'Plastic to Earth machine', that will convert waste plastic material into useful material, by a nine year old boy, P Karthik from Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan of Andhra Pradesh has won the  Doodle 4 Google contest this year.

Earlier Google had invited artwork from children for the 7th Doodle 4 Google competition on the occasion of Children's day on November 14th. The theme for the competition was “If I could create something for India, it would be...”

P Karthik from Sai Prakash Vidyaniketan of Andhra Pradesh was declared the winner for his 'Plastic to Earth machine.' In his own words, Karthik describes his machine as ““This machine will recycle all the plastic waste from our country and turn it into a material which helps the growth of mother nature.”

Incidentally his sister P.Ramya presented her artwork on the concept 'Green city – Dream city' and won in the group 2 division. Ramya had also won an international painting competition in the past and secured the gold in the Horlicks painting competition.
