Prabhas-Baahubali-The Conclusion went on to become a blockbuster hit across the world. For many Tollywood biggies it would be tough to break the record set by him. The film has raked in Rs 1700 Cr for the first time in Telugu history.

Mahesh Babu's Spyder didn't farewell at the box office. And his Kollywood debut was nothing to write home about. Spyder was directed by Tamil director AR Murugudoss.

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya -Samantha: The lovebird couple got hitched this year in Goa at W resort in a low-key affair. Both of them have met on the set of Ye Maaye Chesave of Gautham Menon's direction. It was one of the most anticipated events of the year.

Allu Arjun has been in the news for not getting the Nandi Award for Race Gurram. The film was highly appreciated by the audience but it couldn't bag any award which in turn led to major controversy. Te film was one of the biggest hits of the year.
