Farmer Visits MRO Office With Petrol Tried To Set People Ablaze - Sakshi Post

CHIGURUMAMIDI: A farmer tried to set himself ablaze by pouring petrol at  Chigurumamidi Tahsildar office in Karimnagar district on Tuesday, November 19. He alleged that he is fed up with the revenue officials as they were not redressing his land dispute and for not issuing his pattadhar passbook.

Farmer Kanakaih, who belongs Lambadipalli village initially made an attempt to set ablaze the Chigurumamidi Tahsildar office, three officers superintendent, a village revenue assistant and an attendant, besides dousing office furniture and computers by pouring petrol. The revenue officers immediately stopped him.  Chigurumamidi sub-inspector of police Challa Madhukar Reddy rushed to the office and took Kanakaiah into custody.
