Enraged Teacher Throws Chilli Powder In Headmaster’s Eyes

HYDERABAD: Enraged at being questioned about his punctuality, a teacher attacked a headmaster by throwing chilli powder in his eyes. The incident happened at a Zilla Parishad School in Reddypally village in Chegunta Mandal, Medak district on Monday, November 18.

According to the reports, Srinivas Murthy who works as a Physical Science teacher at Reddypally Zilla Parishad School came late to school on Monday without giving any prior communication. The headmaster M. Devaiah questioned Murthy on his late arrival. Angered at being questioned, Murthy threw chilli powder in the eyes of Devaiah.

Chegunta Education officer Katroth Butcha Nayak said that they had received a complaint against Murthy and will investigate into the matter. The officer said that they will also investigate whether it was pre-planned action or if any kind of old enmity was there between the two, which prompted him to bring chilli powder to school.
