HC Stays CM KCR Decison Over Privatisation of 5100 buses - Sakshi Post

HYDERABAD: Telangana High Court which conducted a hearing over  Public Interest Litigation petition filed by Telangana Jana Samithi Vice president Prof PL Vishweshwar Rao gave a stay over Telangana Chief Minister CM KCR's decision of privatising 5,100 TSRTC buses in specified routes, and postponed the next hearing to Monday, November 11.

This verdict of High court  is a major setback to the Telangana government and gave relief to the 48,000 agitating Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) employees.

HC asked the additional Advocate General to submit the cabinet decision over privitisation in a sealed cover.

Now the RTC JAC unions expressed their happiness over HC decision. HC gave a suggestion to state government to conduct meeting with RTC employees over the TSRTC strike.

Even the state government advocate said that major aim behind privitisation is to provide comfortable transport facility to the public the HC denies their argument.

HC expressed outrage on state government over the incorrectness of documents provided by them. Speaking on behalf of the Center, Advocate Namavarapu Rajeshwar Rao said that the Telangana government has not sought permission from them over Privitisation of TSRTC.
