Govt Official Caught Red-Handed Taking Bribe In Keesara
KEESARA: A panchayat official has been caught in the act by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs one lakh for clearing audit report in Keesara of Medchal-Malkajgiri district.
According to reports, the graft body officials received inputs that panchayat official Ravi Kumar was demanding Rs one lakh as the first instalment from a former sarpanch Eshwaraiah for clearing audit report and caught him red-handed while taking a bribe.
In a similar incident, ACB officials had caught Village Revenue Officer (VRO) K Shankar of Turkayamjal in Hayathnagar Mandal while taking Rs 50,000 bribe from one Muthyam Reddy. He demanded the bribe for initiating the mutation process of one acre and 29 guntas lands and to make an entry in Pattadar Passbook.
