TSRTC Temporary Driver Attempts Suicide

HYDERABAD: Depressed with Telangana Chief Minister’s negative decision over TSRTC merger with State government, temporary TSRTC employee attempted to commit suicide by consuming pesticides on November 1.

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) strike entered the 28th day on November 1 and the number of people that have committed suicide demanding the merger of TSRTC with the state government, have been rising.

According to the reports, the TSRTC temporary driver Khaja who belongs to Nagarkurnool works in Shadnagar bus depot of Ranga Reddy district attempted suicide by consuming pesticides. The other staff who noticed his suicide attempt rushed him to Mahabubnagar government hospital.
