Hawala Racket Busted In Sultan Bazar

Hyderabad: The City Police have busted a Hawala money transfer racket and caught one person involved. Rs 23 Lakhs was seized from his possession.
A bike carrying the money was intercepted by the police at Esamiyabazar in Sultan Bazar.
According to the police, the suspect carrying this huge sum of money did not have proper documents and failed to produce valid papers on being asked.
The accused identified as Bhavani Singh (30), is a resident of Rajasthan and was transporting money to Karnataka on his bike.
The seized money was handed over to the Income Tax department for further investigation.
