Traffic Snarls On Hyderabad Roads Battered By Rain

Hyderabad Roads - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Hyderabad has been witnessing continuous rain for the past two days and the Indian Meteorological Department officials have predicted heavy rain for the next two days. As a result of several arterial roads in many parts of the city got blocked due to waterlogging. Traffic, always at snail's pace on the road from Jubilee Hills Checkpost to Paradise intersection road, stuttered as it moved though it is among the roads which are maintained better. Localities such as Nizampet and other areas in Kukatpally were choc-a-bloc with slow-moving traffic on pothole-ridden roads. Traffic on the Madhapur-Kukatpally-Miyapur Road a nightmare at the best of times, inched forward to the frustration and dismay of road-users. Cyber Towers, always a busy intersection, has been witnessing massive jams apart from the road in Cyberabad from Mindspace to Biodiversity junction. The traffic from Gachibowli to Lingampally, a slow stretch at the best of times, is now slower than ever. The Cyberabad police have been suggesting alternative routes.

In other areas including Himayathnagar, Nallakunta, Nampally and the narrow roads of the Old City were congested as traffic moved at a slow pace.
