This Hyderabad Biker Has 77 Pending Challans For Traffic Violations

Nallakunta, Hyderabad: A biker riding a Bajaj Avenger has as many as 77 pending challans against him, Hyderabad traffic discovered on Monday. The traffic cops were conducting a Special Drive led by SI Ramesh, when they flagged down the biker who was going from Sankar Mutt to Fever Hospital in Nallakunta. When the SI verified the number on his tab, to his surprise he learnt that there were as many as 77 challans pending on the bike in question, amounting to dues of Rs. 12,725. Traffic SI Ramesh seized the bike and informed his superiors who brought the instance to the notice of the Commissionerate. The biker in question was told that his bike would be returned after the pending challans were paid. Most of the challans were for helmetless driving.
