Telangana To Witness Heavy Rains In Next 24 Hours

Hyderabad: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) warned heavy rains in Telangana during the next 24 hours.

In a bulletin in Hyderabad, the IMD stated that light to moderate rains and thundershowers are expected at isolated places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema during the next five days. The Southwest Monsoon has entered these regions in the past week and rainfall has been normal during the last 24 hours. Under the influence of the monsoon, heavy rains lashed at isolated places in Kurnool district of Rayalaseema and in the districts of Telangana - Nirmal, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Sangareddy, and Kumaram Bheem.

The maximum temperature of 36 degrees Celsius was recorded at Khammam and the minimum temperature was recorded in Nizamabad at 23 degree Celsius in Telangana. Meanwhile, the bulletin mentioned that the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in Hyderabad were 32 and 28 degrees Celsius respectively. In Rayalaseema, the highest maximum temperature recorded was 38 degree Celsius in Tirupati and the lowest minimum temperature was of 23 degree Celsius in Arogyavaram.
