Hyderabad: RTC Bus Rams Into Bike; Woman Killed

Hyderabad: In a tragic road accident which took place at Moosapet in Kukatpally, a woman lost her life. As per the details, the incident occurred when a TSRTC bus hit a motorbike in Hyderabad on Thursday resulting in the instant death of the woman travelling on the bike after she suffered serious injuries.

The woman's husband, who was riding the bike was also injured severely and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. The couple was heading towards Kukatpally from Balanagar when the mishap occurred. According to the police, the RTC bus driver was steering the vehicle in a rash and negligent manner.

The police shifted the body of the deceased to Gandhi Hospital mortuary for postmortem. A case has been registered by the police. A manhunt has been launched for the RTC bus driver, who absconded from the spot immediately after the accident. Further investigation is underway.
